This page explains what information Hanuman Chalisa PDF (hanumanchalisapdf.in) collects when you use it, why, and what choices you have. The site is run by Saurabh Satyaram, a Hanuman bhakt from Jaipur, India. You can read every page and download every PDF without an account, and without giving us your name or email address unless you choose to.
What We Do Not Collect
There are no accounts, logins or comments on this site. We do not sell or rent any information about our visitors, and we never give your name or email address to advertisers.
Visitor Statistics
To learn which pages, languages and PDFs are useful, we use Google Analytics. It records things like the page you open, the page you came from, your browser and device type, your approximate location (country or city) and how long you stay. The script is served from our own server and sets no cookies of its own; it keeps a random visitor number in your browser’s storage so that one visit is not counted twice. Google receives this information and handles it under the Google Privacy Policy, and keeps the detailed data for at most 14 months. We look only at totals and trends; they do not tell us who you are.
Ads
Pages on this site may show ads from Google AdSense, which help pay for the site. Google and its partners use cookies to show these ads, including ads based on your earlier visits to this site and to other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at any time in Google’s My Ad Center; you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests. Visitors from some countries, such as those in the European Union and the United Kingdom, are asked for their consent before personalised ads are shown.
The Newsletter
You can sign up for our newsletter with your email address to hear about new pages, PDFs and festival dates. We use your address only to send the newsletter, through the email service that delivers it, and never sell or share it. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and once you do, we stop writing to you.
Notifications
The site may ask whether you would like notifications about new pages. Nothing happens unless you choose Allow in your browser. If you do, our notification service, Gravitec, keeps a subscription number for your browser so that it can send them. You can turn them off at any time in your browser’s settings for this site.
The Contact Form
The form on our contact page is run by FormCan, a form service. What you type in it reaches us through FormCan. We use it only to read and answer your message, keep it only as long as needed for that, and never add you to any list.
Videos and Links to Other Sites
The video pages show YouTube videos. A video loads from YouTube only when you tap it to play; after that, YouTube may set cookies and note what you watch, under Google’s privacy policy. Audio files and PDFs come from our own server.
The share buttons (WhatsApp, Facebook and Telegram) and the links to our Facebook, Telegram and YouTube pages are plain links: nothing is sent to those services until you tap one, and their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
Settings Kept on Your Device
The reading tools on the Hanuman Chalisa pages (letter size and night reading) remember your choice in your own browser’s storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Hosting and Security
The site runs on a web server and is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and makes pages load faster. Like every website, these services keep short technical logs (the IP address, browser, page and time of each request) to keep the site running and safe. Cloudflare may set a security cookie when it checks a visit for abuse. The site uses an encrypted connection (https) on every page.
Children
Children are welcome to read and learn the Hanuman Chalisa here, and we have a page for children and students. The site asks no one for personal information. If a child has written to us through the contact form, a parent can ask us to delete that message.
Your Choices and Rights
You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser, use a browser setting or extension that blocks analytics, turn off personalised ads in Google’s My Ad Center, unsubscribe from the newsletter, and turn off notifications at any time. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you (in practice, a message you sent us or your newsletter address), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will reply.
