This is a devotional website, made with care by a devotee. It is not run by a temple, a trust, an ashram or a publisher, and it is not linked to any of them, or to any singer or music company. Names of books, publishers and singers appear only to say which text a page follows or who sang a recording.
The Meanings Are Our Understanding
The meanings, explanations and answers on this site are written in our own simple words. Learned people explain some verses in other ways too. For rituals, vrat, puja vidhi or a deeper reading of a verse, please ask a pandit you trust or read a published commentary.
No Promise of Results
Devotees read the Hanuman Chalisa for courage, a steady mind and faith. This site does not promise that reading it will solve a particular problem. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice; for those, please see a qualified person.
Using the Texts and PDFs
The Hanuman Chalisa and the other paaths are Goswami Tulsidas ji’s and our shared tradition, and belong to everyone. The English letters, the other scripts, the meanings, the PDFs, the pictures made for this site and the page layouts are our work.
You are welcome to print the PDFs and share them with family and friends, at a mandir or in a satsang, free of cost. Please do not sell them or change the text in them. If you share them on another website, a link back to this site is welcome.
Recordings, Videos and Pictures
The audio and video recordings belong to their singers and channels. We only show them with the words. Before using one in your own video or post, check its licence on its source page or ask its owner.
The pictures are the author’s own photos, artwork made for this site (marked as illustrations) or old pictures that are free to use. You are welcome to use them as a phone wallpaper, a WhatsApp DP or in personal sharing. Please do not sell them or put them on another website without asking.
